Rory Bremner is a guest on Countdown. He's an impressionist and comedian, known for his roles on shows such as Spitting Image, Bremner, Bird and Fortune, and for being one of the original panellists on Mock the Week. He also hosted Face the Clock, a short-lived game show that followed Countdown in the schedules in 2013.
Twelve years before his debut in Dictionary Corner, Bremner had made a cameo appearance, in character as then Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, selecting the letters in Episode 4473, to celebrate the 25th birthday of Countdown.
From 21 December to 23 December 2020 and 13 January 2021, he was the first guest under Colin Murray's tenure as substitute host as well as first guest under Anne Robinson's tenure as host from 28 June to 1 July 2021.
