Bradley Cates was a contestant in Series 56 and an octochamp in Series 69. As of his January 2007 appearances, he was an 11-year-old schoolboy from Southport, Merseyside. As of his return in October 2013, he was eighteen. He also appeared at the unofficial Countdown tournament, CoBris 2007.
In his original run, he won three games before losing to serial quiz show contestant and future Series 82 octochamp Ian Volante on a crucial conundrum.
