Gordon Smith was a contestant in Series 35. He was the seventh heat opponent of Dag Griffiths, and was shown briefly at the end of Dag's sixth appearance the previous day. With Dag having won all six of his appearances without having faced a Crucial Conundrum up to that point, when Ricahrd Whiteley asked Gordon how he fancied his chances agaiinst Dag the following day, Gordon famously replied "I've just come for the goody bag!"
