Anthony Jenkin was a quarter-finalist from series 31. He first appeared on 4 January 1996, beating Maria Thomson, and racked up a further seven wins to become the first octochamp since Suzanne Miles three series earlier. He returned for the final stages as #2 seed, but was beaten in the quarter-finals by Chris Williams.
