Tom Bashford was a quarter-finalist in Series 93. He was from Oldham, Greater Manchester and is also an Apterite.

Unfortunately in his fifth game, he ran into returning contestant and fellow Apterite Patrick Thompson who dethroned Bashford thanks to a fourteen-max game although Tom did have the lead in Round 4.
