Jack Waley-Cohen was a contestant in Series 41. He has also appeared on several other quiz shows, including as a losing finalist in the first series of Only Connect. He coached the St. John's, Oxford team that reached the final of University Challenge in 2001. More information on him can be found on wikipedia, where he appears largely due to his appearance as a co-host on Totally Top Trumps.

Jack is also the founder of QuizQuizQuiz, for whom fellow Countdowner David Stainer (who was captain of the team that conquered Jack's team on Only Connect) sometimes sets questions.
