Helen McGivern was an Octochamp in Series 90. She was a former Customer Services Export Associate, and present Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) on maternity leave, originally from Warrington but since of Wigan, Greater Manchester.

By becoming the sixth octochamp of the series, she has punched her ticket to the end-of-series finals, and was also the first contestant in Series 90 to find multiple nine-letter words, finding four over the course of her eight games, and her total of 704 was good enough for the provisional #6 seed, scoring an average of 88 per game.
