Series 86 will be the next series of Countdown and the last to feature Anne Robinson as presenter, with some editions presented by Colin Murray.
After announcing her immediate departure from the show on 2 May 2022, Robinson's last episode will air on 13 July 2022. Murray will temporarily take over from 14 July for at least 75 episodes, as announced on his Twitter feed. [1]. It remains to be known whether he or someone else will host, either temporarily or permanently, beyond this.
Susie Dent will return to the show, after missing the finals of Series 85 due to contracting COVID-19.
