John Pakenham was a contestant in Series 92 from Dublin. After an excellent debut where he scored 112, he followed that up with four further victories with a high score of 119 among them. But in his sixth game, he was put into battle with returnee, Apterite and the eventual series champion of Jase Cullen who turned out to be Pakenham's toughest opponent. Regardless, John stayed in range with Jase throughout the entire match right up until the crucial conundrum of HIDEFACTS. Unfortunately, Cullen buzzed in snappily with the correct answer of CATFISHED to end Pakenham's run. His five wins and 594 points were eventually not enough for the series finals.
