Episode CC5 was broadcast on 17 May 1982 in the Yorkshire region only as part of Calendar Countdown.
Michael Firth played Pamela Clough, with Michael Firth winning 32 – 14. The Dictionary Corner guest and the lexicographer was Ted Moult.
This episode extended the letters rounds to 9 letters, and introduced a forerunner to the teatime teaser, which viewers were given a whole week to solve, the answer being revealed in Episode CC6.
