8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Sean Lock and Jon Richardson were the contestants, along with David Mitchell and Katherine Ryan who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Katherine Ryan, winning by 31 – 22 in an 8-rounder and Jon specifically won one hour's worth of time alone with a puppy.

Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician, and Joe Wilkinson "helped" her out from round 5 onwards. The Dictionary Corner guest was David O'Doherty, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
