Roger Springthorpe in Series 77...
and again in Series 78!
Roger Springthorpe was a contestant in Series 77 and 78.
He made his debut in the last heat game of Series 77 and won the game over four-time winner Chris Weldon. He was then put aside for the series finals, and returned on 2 January 2018. However, on his return he appeared rather rusty and was defeated by Jacob Coventry-Peters.
Prior to Countdown, he appeared in Series 30 and 31 of Fifteen to One in 2001, winning a game in the former.
