Sue Telfer, known as Sue Bowman during her first appearance, was a contestant in Series 25 and Series 86. As of her first appearance she lived in Manor Farm, Bristol, as of her second appearance she lived in Milton Keynes, and originally she was from Coventry.

About halfway between her appearances, she returned to the Countdown scene for the unofficial CoBris 2007 tournament.

She appeared on The Chase in 2020.
