Trevor Grundy was a contestant in Series 70.
He was a 61-year-old legal executive in local government from Bolton, who had suffered a life threatening stroke five years prior to his Countdown appearance. He was, prior to his stroke, a keen Scrabble player who had also previously appeared on Connections, Crosswits, Chain Letters, Catchword and The Crystal Maze, among many other series.
