NOTE: The result hinged on Dent's controversial decision to disallow Rye's declaration of HEADWAYS. Whilst HEADWAY was given as a mass noun, there was a second definition that arguably could have taken a plural form. Allowing that this word would have changed the scoreline to 100 – 95 in Rye's favour, Rye was invited back (according to Damian Eadie) but he did not take up the invitation for reasons unknown.
