Keith Pottage
Keith Pottage was a contestant in Series 18. He was a freelance writer from Wakefield.
In addition to his appearance on Countdown, Pottage was the runner-up in the first-ever episode of Countdown's former sister show Fifteen to One in January 1988, and won a heat in the final series of that show in December 2003, but failed to make it to the Grand Final. He also appeared on Stake Out in December 2001, in the same game as Mark Labbett. In May 2004, he appeared on Channel 5's show Memory Bank, while in 2005 he won £125,000 on ITV's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. In 2009, he appeared on 1 vs 100.
He has also worked extensively as a writer and researcher on a number of other television series in the UK over the years.
