Edward "Eddy" Byrne was a contestant in Series 71. He is well known for saying the word BOURGEOIS an awful lot, as well as that word being one of the few that people understand what he is saying. Despite being Irish, he does not like Guinness, btu loves drinking so much that his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is empty.
In 2015, he organised and co-hosted the first Countdown in Dublin.
