Episode 5395 was broadcast on 13 December 2011, and was the fourth quarter-final of Series 65.
Jayne Wisniewski played Carl Williams, with Carl Williams winning 98 – 64. The Dictionary Corner guest was Jon Culshaw, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
Notably, the letter L was completely absent from this game's letters rounds. This is the only time this letter has not appeared in a 15 rounder. It is believed that this was due to some of the Ls in the consonant pile having been pulled from it to be used on the conundrum scramble and solution boards.
