Cillian McMulkin was a contestant in Series 65 and Series 87. At the time of his appearances, he was a Risk Analyst from Belfast. He has been an Apterite since 2009.
Debuting midway through Jeff Stelling's last series, McMulkin fell 14 points short of victory to would-be octochamp Dave Taylor. Thankfully he was allowed to return over 11 years later, this time starting his run against 7-timer winner Peter Burke in an all-Ireland affair. McMulkin was not beaten this time, winning 66 – 107 to deny Burke octochamp-dom.
