Campbell's 75 points is the joint-highest 9-round score ever achieved without a nine-letter word, shared by Harvey Freeman on 11 November 1986.

Notably, in Round 4, the numbers game could have been solved simply as 100 = 100, but Richard Whiteley encouraged the contestants to find alternative methods. This was the first recorded instance in which it has been possible to solve a numbers game without using any mathematical operators at all, outside of Catsdown until 31 years later in Episode 8526.
