Geoff Young was a contestant in Series 45. He was a retired chartered accountant from Bury.

Outside of Countdown, he also made six appearances on Fifteen-To-One between November 1998 and March 2000, winning three times, and appearing in two Grand Finals (coming runner-up in the first in December 1998 and third in the second in April 1999).
