Di Dennis was a contestant in Series 8. She was from Ruislip, Middlesex.
She was also one of the country's top Scrabble players, reaching Grandmaster status and winning the inaugural ABSP Masters in 1992.
She sadly passed away on 4th October 2012, after losing her battle with cancer.
