Episode 8423 was broadcast on 20 December 2024, and was the grand final of Series 90.

NOTE 1: Both contestants were returning contestants with Kirby having appeared in Series 60 and Wood in Series 20; as this was the first series grand final since Series 72 where both contestants have had a previous run on the show.

NOTE 2: By solving the conundrum, Wood became the first female champion since Kate Ogilvie won Series 39 back in 1998 and only the sixth in the show's 42-year history.

NOTE 3: This was also the first series grand final to be decided by a crucial conundrum since Series 80.
