Brian Capper was a finalist in Series 46. Brian won 4 games including a score of 118, the second highest score of the series. He lost his 5th games to Phil Wass but still qualified for the series quater-finals. There by chance he faced Phil Wass and gained his revenge by beating Phil on a crucial conundrum, but couldn't topple the number six seed Steve Sandalls who went on to lose to Ben Wilson in the Series 46 final.
