8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Sean Lock and Jon Richardson were the contestants, along with Miles Jupp and Greg Davies who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.
The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Greg Davies, winning by 47 – 23 in a 7-rounder and they won a Countdown trampoline with Jimmy's face on it.
Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician. The Dictionary Corner guest was Holly Walsh, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
Just after the Second Teaser, Miles challenged Sean that if he ate all 30 whelks they cooked in one shot, he would donate £10 to the charity of his choice. This was then raised to £10 000 after getting approval from the directors. However, as he couldn't, this plan did not proceed further.
NOTE 1: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.
NOTE 2: In Round 6, Jon's offering of MONGER in Round 6 should have been ruled invalid as it is listed in the ODO as a suffix, and not in its own right. Thus, the final score score should have been 41 – 23.
