Revision as of 15:04, 9 April 2020
Episode 729 was broadcast on 10 May 1988, as part of Series 15.
Dave Clapham played Rose Meyer, with Dave Clapham winning 48 – 45. The Dictionary Corner guest was Derek Nimmo, and the lexicographer was Della Thompson.
NOTE: Meyer's declaration of SEWINGS in round 5 should have been allowed, as SEWINGS was given in COD7, therefore she should have won the match 52 – 48. For reasons unknown, Meyer was not given another chance in the following series, as is usually the case when a contestant loses match due to an error by Dictionary Corner.
