Revision as of 18:50, 21 June 2022
Steven Etherington was a contestant in Series 85 and 86. He was a Warehouse Operative from Skelmersdale, but originally from Liverpool.
Steven appeared in the last six heats of Series 85 before it broke off for the finals. For undisclosed reasons, his sixth heat had to be withdrawn from broadcast; the scoreline remains unknown, but is known that Steven did win this heat, and so he returned for his seventh game in the first edition of Series 86, which he also won, but missed out on becoming an octochamp the following day after a narrow defeat to Daren Barnes. With 7 wins under his belt, Steven may still qualify for the series finals in December 2022.
Steven is the son of two-time contestant Peter Etherington, and both appeared on the first series of Fifteen to One; Steven also applied for another Anne Robinson-fronted quiz show, The Weakest Link, but did not get beyond the audition process.
