Anne Robinson (born 26 September 1944) was the presenter of Countdown from 28 June 2021 to 13 July 2022. At the time of her six appearances as a Dictionary Corner guest on the show in 1987, she was helming Points of View. She later became most famous for hosting The Weakest Link from 2000 to 2012 (she also hosted a Children in Need special of the show in 2017).

Robinson replaced Nick Hewer as host of Countdown, following Hewer's retirement. She became the unique female host of the regular weekday version of Countdown, with Katherine Ryan having presented an episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Robinson took over at the start of Series 84, where her first episode began with a clip of Richard Whiteley introducing her as Dictionary Corner guest.

On 2 May 2022, Robinson stood down as presenter of Countdown with immediate effect after filming 265 episodes. Her last episode was transmitted on 13 July 2022 before Colin Murray returned as presenter. She is the only main host to have presented nothing other than socially-distanced episodes. Robinson is also the second presenter after Des O'Connor, to not have presented a Championship of Champions tournament. And she is also the second presenter after Des Lynam, to have not presented a special episode.

As host of The Weakest Link, Robinson became famous for her "Queen of Mean" persona, which was later parodied on an episode of Doctor Who where a version of The Weakest Link – set in the year 200,100 – was hosted by the "Anne Droid".
