David won his first head game by just 8 points when he solved the crucial conundrum PRATTLING. From there on he racked up 7 more wins with a high score of 98 against Eunan MacIntyre. He qualified for the finals as #6 seed as the lowest scoring Octochamp. There he lost to in the quarter-final against Jeffrey Hansford on a crucial conundrum which Jeffrey solved in less than half a second. He later accused Jeffrey of cheating.
