From Countdown
Revision as of 18:31, 21 January 2008 by Mglovesfun (talk | contribs)
The goody bag is the colloquial term for the prizes given to contestants after they have appeared on Countdown. The prizes are different depending on whether the player won a game, or even made the Series finals. The current goody bag includes:
- Countdown board game
- Countdown electronic game
- Oxford Dictionary of English - which one depends on whether the player wins a game or not.
- Countdown T-shirt, blue with a small white and yellow Countdown logo on it.
- Countdown coaster (drinks mat)
- Susie Dent's The language report, a book analysing the English language.
- A teapot, reserved for players who win at least one game.
Prizes for finalists are usually trophies of some sort, such as an engrave silver tray or a cut-glass trophy. Series winners get the full Oxford Dictionary of English.
