8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 26 is the current series of special episodes that began airing on 19 July 2024. These episodes will be the last to air for some time, following the announcement that production of the show had been suspended owing to the slowdown at Channel 4, with no new episodes recorded in 2024 (although it remains yet to be seen if the annual Christmas Special will go ahead).
Notably, all the episodes featured a black screen momentarily before each segment started and ended. This was likely due to a change in Sponsor between their original intended airing dates and now.
