Gaurav Kamath was a contestant in Series 92 from Berkshire. At the time of his appearance, he had just completed his A-Levels at Reading School and was about to start an undergraduate Economics degree at University College, London. He was also a keen chess player, having achieved the rank of Club Master from the English Chess Federation.
