Lucy Summers was Countdown's third and shortest-serving letters girl.
She did one series before flouncing off as she decided that she wanted to be a serious actor, dahling and not some cheap game show hostess. She was last spotted, plying her trade as a gardening expert.
When Summers left, the producers decided that they couldn't be bothered of doing anymore casting. As from Series 18 to 59, Carol Vorderman took over from all the hostess duties.
