Jeff Clayton played Moose Rosser, with Moose Rosser winning 88 – 84. The Dictionary Corner guest was Colin Murray, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
NOTE: This episode marked the 25th anniversary of Susie Dent's first appearance as lexicographer. In honour of this: during his anecdote slot, Colin Murray read an appreciative poem to detail Dent's notable moments on the show and a short clip from her first show (Episode 1263 in Series 24) being broadcast with Richard Whiteley and Rula Lenska introducing her as lexicographer for the first time. Nick Hewer gave Dent a postcard and pen from one of her fans, Arsène Wenger, during the Origins of Words slot. And at the end of the episode, Rachel Riley presented Dent with a bouquet.
