Co:MK Open 2023
The Countdown in Milton Keynes Open 2023 is an upcoming co-event, organised by FOCAL chairman Callum Todd and to be hosted by Adam Beach on the 25 November 2023 as the closing event of the 2023 FOCAL season. It will run concurrently with the 2023 FOCAL finals as an open-style event for those attendees who didn't qualify as one of the top eight finalists.
It will be held at the Novotel in Milton Keynes for the second consecutive year, where attendees will play seven 9-round games in the Bristol format. There will be no grand final for this particular tournament, as this will be the championship grand final for the top two players in the finals event; the winner of the open will be the player at the top of the leaderboard once the heat games have concluded.
This event will debut a useful, purpose-built presentation software developed by Series 80 octochamp Fiona Titcombe, intended to be used at all future Bristol-style events.
