Crucial - A Champion’s Tale

From Countdown

Crucial - A Champion’s Tale often known as Crucial is a book published by Mark Tournoff in 2007, published by Mark's own publishing firm Forestdale Publications. The book details Mark's experience on Countdown, including his winning of the Series 52 final on a crucial conundrum against Paul Gallen, and his losing of the Championship of Champions XII final against the same player, on another crucial conundrum. The title crucial is a reference to the crucial conundrums he played on the show, a crucial conundrum being when the margin between the players is 10 points or less before the final round, and therefore either player can still win.
