Special episode 24 was broadcast on 2 November 2007, as a special episode commerorating the 25th anniversaire of the first televised episode of Countdown. The first ever episode was shown directly before the game, and notable celebrities were chose to select the letters and numbers, rather than Conor and Chris selecting them themselves.
Chris Wills played Conor Travers, with Conor Travers winning 69 - 58. The game is notable as being the only 12-round game in Countdown history
