Nic Brown played Joel Salkin, with Nic Brown winning 108 – 36. The Dictionary Corner guests were Gyles Brandreth and Carol Thatcher, and the lexicographer was Julia Swannel. In round 13, Karen Loughlin mistakenly put a 6 tile upside down, making it look like a 9.
