Luke Johnson-Davies played David Kempshall, with Luke Johnson-Davies winning 136 – 89. The Dictionary Corner guest was John Inverdale, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
Johnson-Davies' max game was only the eleventh in the history of Countdown, the second in the "new" 15-round format, and the first since 17 December 2014 when Dan McColm achieved this feat.
