Tom Stevenson played Edward Byrne, with Tom Stevenson winning 116 – 91. The Dictionary Corner guest was Neil Delamere, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
Although both contestants solved Rounds 3 and 6 exactly, Rachel Riley presented her own complex methods as well, those being (100 × 75 − 8 × 50) ÷ 25 + 7 for Round 3 and (100 × 75 − 9 × 50) ÷ 25 for Round 6.
