8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 2, Episode 3 was a special episode broadcast on 17 January 2014, as part of 8 out of 10 Cats Mash-ups Series 2.

8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Jon Richardson and Sean Lock were the contestants, along with Kathy Burke and Josh Widdicombe who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Sean Lock, with the assistance of Kathy Burke, winning by 42 – 37 in a 9-rounder.

Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician, and Joe Wilkinson helped her out from round 5 onwards. The Dictionary Corner guest was Dara Ó Briain, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.
