Stewart Gordon was a contestant in Series 56, defeating Chris Walledge on 21 May 2007 to take the champion's chair. He then secured five wins before losing to Dundas Keating on a crucial conundrum, in which neither player could turn DESPERMIT into DISTEMPER. Stewart's 533 points secured him the #8 seed spot for the series finals.
