8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 24 was a series of three special episodes that began on 23 December 2022 with a Christmas special. It lasted two episodes before being taken off for Jon and Lucy's Odd Couples, with no new episodes airing until August 2023, with almost all of the episodes originally intended to air that summer broadcast a year later during Series 26. The first regular episode featured Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon, suggesting it was recorded when Rachel Riley was on her second maternity leave.
Starting with this series, all COVID-19 restrictions were fully removed.
