Series 4
He first appeared on ZoomDown Series 4, unseating Fiona Thorne with a score of 96. Despite not scoring above that mark, he managed to win four games with a total of 343 points - the current lowest score of any tetrachamp.
He managed to come back to the quarter-finals to play Adam Dexter, but as a result of failing to score in two numbers rounds - along with a few spots like SULFATE and BEARLIKE - he lost with a score of 78 – 90. He did manage to best him in one round with the spot of TAVERNA and the conundrum, and even entertain the stream during the second game's break with a magic trick.
Series 5
He returned to ZoomDown three years later in Series 5 and with some more practice, this time against Steven Grady. He had managed to keep up with him for the first eight rounds, but Steven managed to beat him in a 4-large solve immediately afterward. Along with a disallowed word and due to an unsure move of pluralising WAIRUA or not, Andres was eventually bested by Steven; he did once again however solve the conundrum, which brought the scoreline to 102 – 101 in Steven's favor.
Series 6
He once again returned for Series 6 of ZoomDown, the first 64-player tournament.
His first game was against Tom Bashford, and he showed no signs of stopping. With spots of TROTTING, MUSICALE, and two numbers rounds where he scored 7 points alone, he managed a 12-max game and his highest score to date of 106.
His next competitor was Andy Platt. After maxing the first six rounds and making an 18-point gap, Andres suffered a little from Andy with a signature 4-large solve, and from a few word spots like ENNOBLE. Andres responded with a smoking hot spot of DOOBIES, and a conundrum solve of FARMSTEAD, snatching the victory in the end.
He then faced Series 89 champion Arthur Page. After losing to LONGUEUR, Andres later responded with a spot of ELITISTS. However, after a spot of EARWAX from Arthur, two disallowed words, and a perfect 4-large solve from Arthur once more, Sanchez's fate was sealed with a loss. However, he had the last laugh by turning MTHREEAXE to HEXAMETER leaving the scoreline at 82 – 102.
As of now, Andres' overall record on Zoomdown is 806 points across nine games.
Co-Events
Andres made his co-event debut in Co:Lon 2022, placing 17th with 4 wins and 295 points, and even hosted the final. He then came back for Co:Lon 2026, this time placing 29th with 3 wins and 408 points. He notably lost a double-max game against Ed Byrne due to not solving a conundrum of his own surname - URSANCHEZ to SCHNAUZER - but managed to score the most points in his group of people with three wins, which garnered him a prize.
