Coral Heath in Series 83.

Coral Heath was an octochamp in Series 83. She's a Mail Sorter and Extra from Daventry, Northamptonshire. She is the first female octochamp to make the finals since Fiona Titcombe in 2019.

Starting her run on 19 February 2021, Heath debuted with a century and unseated Declan McGurk to end his run in his seventh game. Heath continued her unbeaten record which included a run of two scores in the 90's, followed by a solve on a crucial conundrum in her sixth game against Dave Bowley. Heath completed her run of eight straight preliminary victories on 2 March, finishing with a personal best of 106 points and garnering a total of 717 points with 5 conundrums solved.

Heath entered the finals as the No. 5 seed, squaring off against No. 4 seed Louis Ross. Heath fell behind early on, but levelled the scoreline in a successful 6-small gamble on her part, then took the lead with a spot of EMIGRATE for 8. But she soon lost the lead and found herself on the back foot in the final stages. She gambled on 6 small again in the last numbers round whilst 5 points behind, but this time she missed the target and Ross solved the numbers puzzle before the conundrum to end her run. If any consolation, she unravelled the conundrum and bowed out with a respectable series average of 88.89 per game. Heath's overall total of points in her run is 800 points.

Heath has since made her Co-event debut at Blackpool in 2021.

Outside of Countdown, Heath has also appeared in several TV shows, notably, Doctor Who.
