Danny Hamilton was an octochamp from Series 48.

He won eight impressive heat games, including a crucial conundrum win against David Nickeas who was just one round away from being an Octochamp. In the quarter-final, he defeated Julia Wilkinson, but was soundly beaten by Julian Fell in the semi-finals, being beaten 146 – 77. At the time, Fell's score from that game was the record high score.

Hamilton is also remembered as one of the tallest contestants of all time, standing approximately 6' 8" tall.
