Gerry Buckley was a contestant in Series 60 and 80. As of his second appearance, he was a sports journalist from Mullingar, County Westmeath. He wrote for the Westmeath Examiner in Ireland, and their article about his experience on his first appearance can be found here.
In 1989, he appeared as a contestant on RTÉ's Know Your Sport.
