Paul Varlaam in Series 61...

...and 11 years later in Series 82!

Paul Varlaam was a contestant in Series 61 and 82. In his first appearance, he was a Charity Shop Volunteer from Wandsworth. As of his second appearance, he was a Charity Shop and Primary School Volunteer from London.

He very narrowly missed out on returning for the Series 61 finals, equalling the number 8 seed Jacqueline Baker in terms of wins, but scoring only 483 points compared to Baker's 510.

Over 10 years later, he returned to the programme in Series 82, only though he was overpowered by his opponent Ryan Styles.
