Jonathan Seal was a contestant in Series 61 and 87. He was originally from Surrey but now lives in London. He is also an Apterite.
He made his initial debut in 2009, where he was given a very tough proposition in the form of eventual octochamp and eventual series champion Chris Davies, who after a close start eventually overpowered Seal.
But, almost 14 years later, Seal came back, and this time got a teapot by dispatching Apterite and 4-time winner Adam Blundred. He saw off four more opponents before ultimately coming unstuck against yet another tough customer, and fellow Apterite Ronan Higginson despite scoring his joint-highest points total. However, with 5 wins and 570 points, in a series with few Octochamps, he might still qualify for the series finals.
