Chris Toyne

Chris Toyne was a finalist in Series 38. He was a 44-year-old aviation systems architect originally from Southend-On-Sea, Essex, but living in Sheffield. He was the #1 seed in Series 38, losing on a Crucial Conundrum to the eventual series winner John Ashmore in the first semi-final, but was not invited back for Championship of Champions X in December 1999 due to it being a shortened CoC, with only six contestants instead of the standard sixteen.
